Nikwax Wind Resistor is a water repellent, wind resistant, stretchy fabric, which provides excellent moisture vapour transfer,
allowing your perspirations to escape. Comfortable when worn next to the skin, this fabric reduces the effects of wind-chill, deflects the rain and blocks harmful UV rays to protect you in all environments.
The water repellency is renewable with Nikwax aftercare and the fabric is highly durable to survive activities in all terrains.

The Enduro Trek trousers use Nikwax Wind Resistor fabric, which provides excellent freedom of movement through mechanical 4-way stretch. How will my Wind Resistor garment outperform standard softshell?
Nikwax Wind Resistor offers a great balance of performance and comfort. Lighter in weight than many other equivalent fabrics, it provides good water repellency and a quick drying alternative that will reduce the effects of wind-chill, while still being highly breathable. It is also UV resistant and able to protect against biting insects because of the dense weave.

The fabric is very comfortable when worn next to skin. However, the fabric is extremely tough and durable, so suitable for use in many different environments without damage.
In what kind of weather conditions can I use my Enduro Trek Trousers?
The water repellent and wind resistant fabric provides protection in wet and windy conditions and reduces the effects of wind-chill.
Designed for 3 season use, these trousers are great from spring to autumn, but are not intended for harsh winter conditions. Under these circumstances, a pair of Analogy waterproof trousers would be more appropriate.
Which garments should I use with my Nikwax Wind Resistor to get optimum performance?
We recommend using our Parameta T+ underwear underneath the Wind Resistor legwear for maximum comfort.
These trousers combine well with any of our baselayer, midlayer or waterproof tops.
How do I care for my Páramo waterproof?
Always wash this garment with Nikwax Tech Wash® to remove dirt and revive the water-repellency. If, even after washing, the garment outer absorbs water, it is time to reproof with Nikwax TX.Direct®. If you very heavily soil your garment, for example with tar or oil, you can have it dry cleaned. It will then need to be washed with Tech Wash and reproofed with TX.Direct.
Nikwax Tech Wash and TX.Direct are market leading products. They have been specifically designed and optimised for breathable waterproof fabrics. Application in a washing machine is quick, easy, and ensures that the whole garment is thoroughly cleaned and waterproofed.
Nikwax Tech Wash is a highly effective cleaner. Additionally it will revitalise existing Durable Water Repellency (DWR) and revive breathability. It is the safe way to thoroughly clean your waterproof clothing and equipment.
Nikwax TX.Direct Wash-In has been specifically designed and optimised for breathable waterproof garments; it leaves a flexible water repellent treatment on individual fibres allowing moisture vapour to pass through, maintaining breathability.
What if I damage my Páramo® clothing?
Simple repairs can often be done with a needle and thread without compromising the performance of your Páramo gear. If you seriously damage a garment, you can send it back to Páramo and request a quote for having it mended – most damage can be repaired! Our Customer Service team can advise you. If you have irreparably damaged it, you may want to consider recycling it through the Páramo Recycling Scheme, whereby you will receive a substantial discount off your next purchase.
