Parameta® G fabric is two fabrics in one, providing cooling when needed and insulation when needed.
When covered with a wind-proof the fleecy grid squares trap air and provide excellent insulation. When uncovered the gaps between the grid allow moving air to go straight to the skin, promoting cooling. The structure of this next-to-the-skin fabric optimises lateral water movement for evaporative cooling, keeping you comfortable when you are working hard.
These features provide a fabric which can keep you warm and keep you cool, and therefore is useful in the widest range of temperature conditions and activities, from high mountain climbing to gentle spring and summer walking, and all year round cycling.

In what weather conditions can I use my Velez Grid?
Your Velez Grid can be used throughout the year in cold or changeable weather conditions.
If further protection is required, it can be combined with the lightweight Velez Windproof to form the Velez System.
The Velez Grid is not recommended for hot weather. In that case we would recommend one of our Cambia baselayers made from Parameta T+

What if I damage my Páramo clothing?
Simple repairs can often be done with a needle and thread without compromising the performance of your garment. If it is seriously damaged, you can send it back to Páramo and request a quote for having it repaired. Our Customer Service team can advise you.
All Páramo garments are covered by the Páramo Recycling Scheme which prevents them from ending up in landfill.
